TLC (Truth, Love, and Character) is a student led club at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Our goal is to create a loving and caring community where students can know and grow in Christ. We're a Christian group that's not just for Christians...crazy!...right? TLC partners with MCF for support and guidance.

TLC delves into real issues about real life and a real God. We put our faith in action!

We meet every Thursday in the Choir room (Room 001) from 3:30-4:30pm during the school year. And no, we're not a choir-we just meet in the choir room :)

growth groups

Our version of small groups, these gatherings offer a chance to dig deeper into God’s word in a supportive environment. Click here to find the current times and locations.

fall retreat

MCF holds an annual Fall Retreat called “Shine”. Shine is an opportunity to grow closer to God and and to each other. We go to Camp Mardela on the Eastern Shore to literally get away from it all. It’s just 24 hours of you and God.

We Make Smiles

Every few weeks, TLC passes out candy before school. Our goal, make smiles! It’s just another way of saying “you matter and we care” and want to brighten your day.

paint-a-thon

TLC's annual Paint-a-Thon is always a huge success! We spend time prepping and painting the bleachers. Be a part of this Great Roosevelt tradition!

food and clothing giveaway

TLC hosts a food and clothing giveaway at 10am every other Saturday at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Come and make a difference in our local community!

summer service hours

TLC offers service hours nearly every Monday during the summer. Projects will be mostly outdoors in or near Buddy Attick Park, Greenbelt. Sample projects include installing fencing to protect trees from beaver damage, beautification projects, park cleanup… you get the idea! Through TLC, you get 2 for 1 service hours toward graduation!
