Maryland Christian Fellowship Students (MCFstudents) is a student led club at the University of Maryland, College Park. We strive to be a place where college students can explore and share their faith in a safe and encouraging environment.
Sunday Services
Sunday services aim to be an opportunity to see how God affects real, everyday life. The music is contemporary, and teachings are practical and relevant. Come as you are. Dress is casual. The service lasts around 1 hour, and is held at Noon at the Memorial Garden Chapel on campus.
Growth Groups
Our version of small groups, these gatherings offer a chance to dig deeper into God’s word in a supportive environment. This is a life application Bible Study.
Fall retreat
MCF holds an annual Fall Retreat called “Shine”. Shine is an opportunity to grow closer to God and and to each other. We go to Camp Mardela on the Eastern Shore to literally get away from it all. It’s just 24 hours of you and God. This is one of MCF’s most anticipated events.
Spring Break Mission
Each year, MCF hosts an alternative spring break mission trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. The poverty just 30 minutes away from this popular vacation area is staggering. We minister by rehabilitating homes for families in desperate need and through direct ministry with the homeowners and neighbors. We have a little fun too....
