I surrendered my life to Jesus in 1982, while I was a college student at The Ohio State University. I graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and worked for American Electric Power and the Hoover Company, before attending Kent State to complete my MBA. While at Kent State, I met Dawn, who would later become my wife.
We moved to College Park, Maryland in 1989 to serve the campus ministry at the University of Maryland. Dawn and I lived in College Park until 2008, when we moved to Greenbelt. MCF Community Church was launched in 2011.
I am passionate about helping people encounter Jesus. My door is always open and I’m here to serve you. Thanks for your interest in MCF.
Dawn and I have four adult children; Jimmy (currently on staff with Cru at Towson University & musician), Danny (Montgomery County Police), Katie (who served as a missionary in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragura and is now a junior at Towson University), and Johnny (sophomore at UMBC).
